As a busy Sales or Marketing Director for a company you’re probably aware of the increasingly powerful impact social media is having on driving sales for businesses like yours. As a Senior Director within an organisation you may be wondering how social media can be integrated into your sales and marketing process to improve the bottom line.

My name is Jon Davey and I have been involved in online marketing since the last century and this year I was the lucky (or skilled) winner of Social Media Week’s Social Media Personality of the Year Award… one of only 4 prizes on offer in the UK. Social Media Week is massive in the industry… 1500 events around the world, 150 in the UK and #SMWLDN achieved over 104,000,000 mentions!

Ask anyone who “virtually” knows me, they will tell you I am a shoot from the hip type of guy. I try many things and am willing to fail, so I can learn and make the next campaign better than the one before… this means I have tried many approaches that you haven’t even considered yet and so through discussion, you can fast track your learning, enabling you to compete with the best in your industry.

Reading FC recently won promotion to the Premiership and through my links at the club I have been able to secure a Premiership Social Media Package for business leaders around the county.

I know that Directors and Senior Managers like yourself are incredibly business and the next meeting will be called at a minutes notice… but then you will also find yourself with a few hours spare…

Spending a few hours with me and a couple of other senior directors at The Madejski Stadium will help you understand social media a bit better and also connect with like minded senior directors who may be able to assist you in furthering your career.

Meetings are hosted in the Executive Boxes at the Madejski Stadium, overlooking Reading FC’s Premiership Football pitch and London Irish’s Premiership Rugby pitch… and what a view!

We could get 10 in the box but prefer to give our Senior Directors space to breathe and swing a cat if they choose to… so we have 5 directors chairs available for our top flight learners… just look at the view… and if the sun is shining… therapeutic…

The format is:

8:00am Coffee, tea, bacon butties while saying hello to each other

8:30am The first half is 45 minutes of Jon Davey taking you on a social media journey. From building websites in 1999 to WINNING Awards in 2012 and all stops in between.

9:15am Then each director will be given 15-20 minutes to share what their goals and Jon, along with the other directors, will help paint a clearer picture to help you put your social media mission / team format together.

11:00am After all the directors that wish to share and gain insight from others have done so, Jon will bring on the 2nd half and share what he has planned for his 2012-13 Premiership season. Including his own Social Media Business Awards, the Business in Berkshire EXPO and his all new Company Pages formulae for rapid product deployment. Not pitching the products but explaining his thought process behind each…

11:45am Anyone for a spot of lunch? Or would you rather get off and attend to business? Choice is yours.

We can order drinks as you need them… and the price is all inclusive… this is the Premiership of social media engagement and training after all.


We charge £247 + VAT per attendee… you pay in advance by PayPal or invoice…

Once you have paid you go into our “speed dial list”. As we announce the next event we will call, email, text or tweet you to say, “Would you like to join us on… ?” The first 5 to say yes are booked in… if only 1 person responds we’ll still run the session, they will simply get more me time ;)

Those directors that join us will become part of the Berkshire 24/7 Club, an exclusive network that gets special invitations to this, that and the other events that are going on around the county. This club is so exclusive it doesn’t even have a website!
